TARGETS
A series of flat lying Lithium bearing pegmatites.
LOCATION
300km NW of Thunder Bay, 150 km east of Red Lake.
PROPERTY
32 claims covering 503ha owned outright by Landore.
GEOLOGY
Essentially a granitic granodiorite country rock, containing small bodies of greenstone: Kewatin andesite and tuffs with minor basalt, IF and slates underlay most of the property. These rock types are intruded by granite and pegmatite dykes.
EXPLORATION HISTORY
Capital Lithium Mines Ltd conducted drilling (38,996 feet) in the late ’50@ and identified 4 pegmatite dykes, all of which contain ore shoots.
Resource of 2,297,000 tons at 1.3% Li20.
POTENTIAL
Exploration of the pegmatites for other minerals and possibly REE.
